There is a critical shortage of healthcare workers nationwide. Providing Students With Generous Support

Glenna Jackson is in a position to help people in the community today thanks to her incredible resiliency and support she received while she was a student at Onondaga Community College.

Her daughter's death decimated her both emotionally and financially "I had just buried my daughter. I didn't have any money. I fell behind on my bills. The help I got was right on time. I was very nervous. My first class was ASL (American Sign Language). The professor (Rebecca Dadey) and the students in the class were extremely inviting. We sat in a U-shape rather than everyone facing forward. After that I had English. My first day was perfect. It gave me the confidence to come back the next day.
