OCC students spent part of their Tuesday passing out pocket-sized copies of the United States constitution, patriotic stickers, information on the upcoming census, and encouraging fellow students to vote. The activities were in conjunction with Constitution Day efforts promoted system-wide by the State University of New York.

Next week is National Surgical Technology Week and Onondaga Community College is proud to have one of the best programs in all of New York State. Surgical Technologists are the people who make sure operating rooms run smoothly. They set up the room, arrange necessary equipment and assist physicians during surgery.

A sports television producer, a humanitarian, an educator and a banker make up the next class of Alumni Faces! The four distinguished former Onondaga Community College students will be honored during an induction ceremony on campus. Each honorees likeness will be added to the Alumni Faces display which is also in the Academic II building. The 2019 Alumni Faces honorees are:
