CLEP and ATB Testing
CLEP Testing
CLEP (College-Level Examination Program) exams are standardized tests offered by the College Board that allow students to earn college credit for knowledge they already have. These exams cover a wide range of subjects—like history, math, science, and languages—and are typically equivalent to introductory college-level courses.
Ability to Benefit (ATB)
All New York residents who have a high school diploma from outside the United States are required to meet the New York State Ability to Benefit (ATB) standards to be eligible for the state's Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) and NY State Aid.
