Parking Compliance

Students, faculty, and staff returning to campus should check their permit and vehicle information before parking, as restrictions and parking rules are strictly enforced throughout campus.

Appealing Parking Tickets

A citation appeal may be made within 10 calendar days of the issue date on the ticket. The right to appeal is forfeited after 10 days. All appeals must be submitted in writing; we do not accept oral appeals. Please allow up to three weeks for a response.

Complete the online appeals form (ADD LINK TO ATTACHED FORM HERE) to submit a written appeal explaining why the ticket was issued in error. Be sure to include documentation, such as photographs or receipts, to show that the cited rule was not violated.

Appeals made for the reasons listed below will not be considered:

  • Lack of knowledge of parking regulations
  • Disagreement with regulations
  • Other cars are also improperly parked
  • Late to class or appointment
  • Disagreement with or inability to pay the fine
  • Parked illegally for only a few minutes
