The kindness of a total stranger changed the course of Tim Saka's life. It was the mid 1990's. He had just graduated high school in his native Turkey and been accepted into a college English program. His friends didn't believe he knew how to speak English. They challenged him to find an English-speaking tourist and engage in a conversation. Saka accepted the challenge and traveled to a tourist hot spot in the city of Ephesus.

The outstanding work of Onondaga Community College professors is on display in the Gallery at the Ann Felton Center on the first floor of Ferrante Hall. The Faculty Art & Photography Show is open until December 5. It showcases not only the talent of our instructors, but also provides insight into their creativity beyond their teaching roles.
