"He's What The Country Needs At This Particular Moment"

Joe Fahey, '69 is looking forward to January 20th. On that day an old friend from his old neighborhood will be sworn-in as the 46th President of the United States. "If there's one thing you know about Joe Biden when you know him, he's a very honest, compassionate, empathetic, smart guy. I have great faith in his ability to both calm and unite the country and to address the critical problems we have."

Supplying Support For Students

The Institute for Supply Management (ISM) of Greater Syracuse presented a check for $45,000 to the OCC Foundation. The endowment award will benefit Onondaga Community College students pursuing a career in a supply chain-related field. Each year beginning in the fall 2021 semester, a returning OCC student will be awarded $2,000 to help cover expenses. Supply chain-related careers include purchasing, procurement, logistics, warehousing, operations, inventory, and other industry standards as they evolve.

The OCC Effect: Dr. Danielle Berry, '13

Dr. Danielle Berry came to Onondaga Community College with a newly found passion and turned it into the foundation for a career. "Attending OCC was the best choice for me to begin my college education because it was affordable and it allowed me to stay home. I knew about the quality of the education because my siblings had attended there."
