Policies, Procedures, and Supplemental Information
Campus Safety and Security, student conduct, and employee conduct reporting procedures specifically apply to all allegations falling within Title IX. Retaliation against any person who makes or declines to make a report of sexual violence is strictly prohibited.
Members of the College community may contact the Title IX Coordinator at any time for assistance in accessing campus processes or resources, to discuss and obtain interim measures that may help targeted individual(s) to resume their usual activities at the College; and/or to file a grievance concerning the application of College policies or procedures to a Title IX concern. Any Title IX grievance must be:
- Submitted in writing;
- Provide the name, address, and contact information of the person submitting the grievance;
- Describe the facts alleged to have occurred;
- State the College policies or procedures alleged to have been misapplied; and,
Identify any additional facts or circumstances relevant to the matter, including contact information, if known, for any other involved parties.
The Title IX Coordinator will consult as necessary with the involved offices or individuals; apply a “preponderance of the evidence” (more likely than not) standard to determine the appropriate resolution of the grievance; and, inform the involved parties of the outcome reached and any follow up actions to be taken.
