Hands-On Training for Semiconductor Technicians

The Semiconductor Technician Bootcamp is a no-cost, ten-week intensive training program designed to prepare highly motivated individuals for entry-level technician roles in the semiconductor and advanced manufacturing industries.

This hands-on program builds on existing technical interest, aptitude or experience and develops industry aligned skills through focused instruction and practical skill validation.

The bootcamp is intended for individuals who demonstrate a strong interest in mechanical or electromechanical systems and are committed to developing the skills needed to begin a career as a manufacturing technician.

Applicants should have some knowledge in:

  • Common hand tools (e.g., hex keys, wrenches, torque tools, screwdrivers)
  • Basic measurement tools (e.g., rulers, scales)
  • Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Word, Excel)

 

Who is this program for?

  • This program is well-suited for individuals who are highly motivated, technically curious, and interested in transitioning into a semiconductor or manufacturing technician role.
  • Applicants should have prior hands-on experience or technical aptitude, strong mechanical hobbies, and be prepared to engage in a structured learning environment.
  • Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Participants must be at least 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States.
