It's been a little more than two decades since Cameron Littlejohn '15 was a kindergartner at Ed Smith school in the Syracuse City School District (SCSD). Today he's back in elementary school, teaching 1st grade at Meachem Elementary which is also in the SCSD. "Being able to be part of kids development and learn from them is a blessing. I am thankful to be part of the solution in making an impact on their lives."

Unfortunate life milestones have inspired Courtney Everson to pursue a career helping others. When her mother was struggling with lung cancer, she would watch her go through the medical imaging process. When her son broke his arm, she observed as he received x-rays.
A dozen students from Onondaga Community College took advantage of an amazing learning opportunity this summer. They were paid to do scientific research at some of New York State's top colleges and universities. The students are all members of either the Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP) or the Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP).
